FAQ

Answers Before You Ask

The questions our team fields most often from buyers, brand owners and importers.

Company

Who is Everchill?

Everchill is the drinkware brand of Yiwu Lvinterest Technology Co., Ltd. We manufacture stainless steel water bottles, tumblers, mugs and jugs, and supply OEM and ODM programmes to brand owners, importers and retail chains worldwide.

Is the factory a trading company or the actual manufacturer?

We are the manufacturer, and the company that signs your contract is Yiwu Lvinterest Technology Co., Ltd., based at No. 588 Chengxin Avenue, Yiwu City, Zhejiang. The brand name Everchill is ours. If your compliance process needs it, we will send our business licence, export registration and the audit reports covering the production site before you place an order — ask, and treat anything you cannot verify with us directly as unconfirmed.

Products

What products can you make?

Our 2026 range covers 37 drinkware designs across four families: double-wall vacuum water bottles (350ml – 1.1L, including 3-in-1 lid systems, kids bottles and aluminium bottles), handle tumblers, straight-wall tumblers and coffee mugs (12oz – 40oz), large-format insulated jugs and bottles (up to 3000ml), and food-grade plastic cups and tumblers. Every design is open to OEM and ODM customisation.

How do I know which model in a range is the right one?

Start from the constraint rather than the product: the volume it has to carry, the height the shelf or the cup holder allows, and whether the outside of the vessel will be held. Every range on this site has a manufacturer guide that walks those three questions against the actual models, and each model page prints its own capacity ladder.

Can I order replacement lids or spare parts separately?

The lids, caps, gaskets and silicone parts are moulded in-house, so a spare-part order is a packing and minimum question rather than a tooling one. Give us the item number, the lid variant and the quantity, and we will say what the packing looks like — spare lids are usually shipped alongside the goods rather than as a shipment of their own.

Customisation

What customisation options do you offer?

OEM and ODM. Customisation covers logo method (silk screen, laser, emboss, TTO, UV plating, water transfer, air transfer), body finish (Pantone powder coat, matt, gloss, crack, mirror, woodgrain), lid and accessory configuration, and retail packaging design.

Can you supply the same product under two different brands?

On an off-the-shelf mould, the body is not exclusive — the shade, the decoration and the brand are, and that is normally what a programme buys. If the body itself has to be yours, that is a tooled programme, and the exclusivity that comes with it is a clause in the agreement rather than a property of the product.

What if my logo is not a vector file?

Send it anyway. A bitmap such as a PNG or a JPG can usually be redrawn, and the redraw is checked against the original before anything is made. What does not work is a low-resolution image being printed as-is, which is worth establishing before a screen is made rather than after.

Can you put a logo on the packaging as well as the product?

Yes. Retail packs, colour boxes, gift tubes and mailer boxes are printed to the same artwork standard as the item, and they are quoted against the board, the dieline and the print rather than as an add-on to the product price.

Shipping

Do you ship to more than one destination on one order?

One order ships to one consignee under one bill of lading, because that is what the shipping documents describe. Where a programme needs goods to go to several warehouses, that is normally handled as separate shipments or as a fulfilment arrangement after arrival — raise it at the enquiry stage, because it changes the packing plan.

Can you quote the landed cost rather than the unit price?

Only in the parts that are ours: the product, the packing and the freight basis we quote on. Duty, clearance and inland transport depend on the destination and the carrier, which is why the site publishes a calculator that estimates a container rather than a landed cost per piece. Comparing unit prices without the landed cost compares nothing.

Do you support DDP shipping?

Yes, for a defined list of destination countries. A DDP quotation shows the goods value, freight, duty, import tax, customs clearance and any remote-area surcharge as separate lines, and states who is responsible for each. We confirm whether your destination is covered before you plan around it. Where DDP is not available, we quote FOB or CIF and can introduce a freight forwarder.

What are your trade terms, and who handles the paperwork?

We quote FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, CIF to your port, and DDP for a defined list of destination countries. Export documents — commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin where applicable, and the test reports for your product — are prepared by us as part of the order. For DDP, duty, import tax, clearance and any remote-area surcharge are shown as separate lines so you can see what you are paying for. Tell us your destination and we will confirm which terms apply.

Ordering

What is your MOQ?

For products that already use our existing tooling, MOQ starts from 500 pieces per colour. That count runs per colour and per model: changing the body colour, the lid colour or the item number starts a new count. A mixed set can be assembled from several colours or models as long as each one reaches its own minimum. Fully bespoke structures that require new moulds carry a higher MOQ, and we quote it clearly against your target quantity. If your launch plan sits below 500, tell us the quantity you are actually working to — we will say whether a smaller trial run is possible on that tooling before you commit to a colour range.

Can I mix models and sizes in one order?

Yes, and mixed loading is normal on a distribution order — the container is planned around the cartons that actually ship rather than around a single model. Two things change: the minimum, because it is counted per colour and per model rather than per order, and the packing plan, because the carton count is what the loading calculation is built from. Both are worth raising at the enquiry stage rather than after production.

What is your production lead time?

Standard mass production runs 10–25 days, and the clock starts when two things are done: the approved sample is signed off, and the deposit has cleared. It does not start when the enquiry is sent or when the artwork arrives. The window itself depends on order size, decoration complexity and the production schedule at the time you order. If you are working to a fixed ship date, tell us the date up front — we would rather tell you the schedule cannot hold it than accept the order and slip. Shipping time after that depends on the destination and the logistics method you choose.

How long do samples take?

Standard sampling is 3–7 days once the specification is confirmed. Projects that need a new structure, a new mould or an unusual process are quoted separately, because the development work is different in each case.

What does a sample cost, and what is charged for it?

Standard samples are charged at piece cost plus courier, and we quote the figure before we make them — you approve the sample charge the same way you approve the sample. Where the sample needs a new mould, a new print screen or a Pantone colour match, that setup is quoted as a separate line, because the same work is then reused in the production run. We do not send free decorated samples: a decorated sample is the production method, so it carries real setup cost. Whether the sample charge is credited back once the production order is placed depends on the agreed terms, and it is stated in the quotation rather than assumed.

What are your payment terms?

Terms depend on the kind of order. Standard production runs: 30% deposit by T/T with the balance against the bill-of-lading copy. Sample and trial orders are normally settled in full before dispatch. Where new tooling is involved, the tooling cost and the production cost are invoiced as two separate payments. Letters of credit are accepted for larger programmes. We confirm which structure applies to your order in the quotation, before you commit.

How is a quotation structured?

As line items rather than a single unit price, because the setup and the per-piece cost behave differently. Expect the body, the decoration setup, the per-piece decoration, the packing and the freight basis to appear separately — which is also what makes a comparison between two quotations possible at all.

How much does tooling cost for a new body?

It is quoted per project, because a mould is priced from the shape, the number of parts and the finish of the steel — three things that do not exist until the drawing does. Two honest rules apply: it is a one-time charge, and one tooled body is not evidence for a second shape.

Can I change the order after production has started?

It depends where it has got to, and the answer is always best given early. A change to the decoration before the screens are made costs a conversation; the same change after coating costs the coated pieces. Ask as soon as the change is known rather than when it is convenient.

What happens to my print screens and artwork between orders?

They are archived against the item number, together with the approved limit sample, so a repeat order of the same logo does not pay a second setup. Where a screen has degraded between runs we say so rather than shipping the difference.

How quickly can I get a quotation?

Send the product type, quantity, customisation details and destination country. We acknowledge a complete brief within one business day, then confirm any missing information before formal pricing.

Quality

Do you accept third-party inspection?

Yes, and it is welcome rather than tolerated. Inspectors nominated by the buyer are supported on site, and the batch records, the test reports and the AQL plan that applied are made available to them. A buyer who wants to verify the factory before committing is asking the right question.

What is your response time on a quality claim?

A claim is acknowledged within one business day of receipt. The written disposition takes longer than that, and pretending otherwise would be a worse answer: it depends on the batch records for the order number, and where a defect is confirmed we respond with replacement, compensation or rework according to the agreed terms.

Can I audit the factory before placing a first order?

Yes — on site, or live over video if travelling is not practical. Both are arranged against a checklist you send, and the relevant records are prepared before the visit rather than found during it. There is a page on how to book a tour and what it covers.

What certifications can you provide?

Products are developed under strict material control and tested to the standards your market requires — commonly FDA and LFGB food-contact testing, plus California Proposition 65 and REACH statements for the materials and coatings actually used. Third-party testing (TÜV, SGS, Intertek) can be arranged when your compliance process needs an independent lab. The document set differs from product to product and from market to market, so the set that matters is the one matching your item number and destination: give us both and we will confirm which reports apply and how current they are. Treat a general certificate as general, and ask us for the set that covers your order.

What happens if bulk goods have a quality problem?

We work to an agreed AQL plan and keep inspection records for every order. In the rare case of a confirmed defect we provide replacement, compensation or rework depending on the situation and the agreed terms.

What does the warranty cover, and for how long?

Workmanship and function are warranted for 12 months from the date of shipment against defects that originate in our manufacturing — vacuum loss, leaking welds or seams, and lid or gasket failure under normal use. It does not cover damage from dropping, misuse, or decoration that a third party applied. If a claim is accepted we replace, credit or rework the affected units; we ask for the order number and photographs or a small sample so we can identify the batch and correct the cause rather than only the symptom.

Legal

Are the certificates issued to you or to the product?

To the product, article or material, and against a destination market. That is why no supplier can honestly say a single certificate covers everything they make: a food-contact report is issued for a specific article in a specific material with a specific coating, and a report for one body is not evidence for another.

Can I have exclusive rights to a design in my market?

Regional exclusivity is available, and it is a clause in the agreement rather than a property of the product — which is why it is worth asking for in writing and reading it before the tooling is discussed. On an off-the-shelf mould the honest position is that the body is not exclusive; what a programme can own is the tooling, the shade, the decoration and the market. On a tooled programme the exclusivity of the mould itself is the normal expectation, and it should be stated.

Can you protect my design and brand?

Yes. We work under OEM confidentiality, do not resell client-specific tooling or artwork, and are happy to sign an NDA before you share designs.

Who owns the mould and the artwork?

It depends on who paid for it, and we put it in writing before the work starts. Tooling we develop on our own account stays ours, and you get exclusive use for the products you order. Tooling you commission and pay for is yours; it is archived against your account, not offered to other clients, and can be transferred to you or to another manufacturer on request once the account is settled. Your artwork, logos and print screens are yours in every case, and we will sign an NDA before you share them.
