Quality

Quality Is A Documented Process, Not A Promise

From material verification to pre-shipment inspection, every order has a measurable plan attached to it — and a record you can audit.

Policy

Tested Against The Standard Your Market Requires

Quality control runs across the whole order — incoming material, production, finished goods and shipment — under a four-stage system: IQC → IPQC → FQC → OQC. Every order has a measurable plan attached to it and a record you can audit.

Compliance documents are provided per project. FDA, LFGB, REACH, Prop 65 and BPA-free requirements apply to different products, materials and destination markets, so we do not claim that every product carries every certificate. Tell us the product, the material and the market you are selling into, and we will provide or arrange the relevant test reports and declarations for that specific configuration.

Control Points

Eight Checks Between Material And Container

01

Incoming Material Verification

Stainless steel grade, thickness and surface condition are checked against the purchase specification before material enters production.

02

In-Process Inspection

Dimensional checks at cutting, forming and vacuum stages, with hourly capability verification against the master sample.

03

Performance Testing

Vacuum retention, thermal performance, leak resistance and drop testing on sampled units from each production batch.

04

Appearance & Limit Sample

Approved limit samples are kept for colour, texture and print registration, so both sides judge the same standard.

05

Lid Function Cycles

Sampled units are cycled through repeated open/close operations to catch gasket and thread wear before the goods ship.

06

Pre-Shipment AQL Inspection

Packing and appearance inspected to an agreed AQL plan, with photos and a written report issued before release.

07

Documentation & Traceability

Inspection records, test reports and material declarations are archived against the order number for future reference.

08

After-Sales Response

If a defect is confirmed we respond with replacement, compensation or rework according to the agreed terms and the evidence.

Performance

Thermal, Vacuum And Leak — Measured, Not Described

Insulation is developed to the retention your market claims rather than to a house number, and every body is vacuum-tested on its own before assembly. The figures below are the envelope our standard double-wall bodies reach; the method behind each one is stated so your own lab can reproduce it.

How It Is Tested
  • 24hours Cold retention Up to 24 hours holding cold on a standard double-wall 500 ml+ body, measured filled and closed at 20 °C ambient. Tell us the retention your market claims and we will say which body, lid and wall gap reaches it.
  • 12hours Hot retention Up to 12 hours holding hot to the same method. Hot performance is decided by the lid as much as the body — an open chug lid loses heat far faster than a sealed screw cap.
  • 100% Vacuum tested, piece by piece Every body is evacuated and measured individually before assembly. This is not an AQL sample: an AQL plan would tell us how many units leak, never which ones, and a leaking vacuum body cannot be fixed after the walls are sealed.
  • 100% Leak test on finished units Assembled and filled units are inverted and checked before packing. The test is recorded against the order, so a claim months later can be traced to the batch it came from.
  • 8checks Documented control points Incoming material, in-process inspection, performance, appearance against the limit sample, lid function cycles, pre-shipment AQL, documentation and traceability, and after-sales response. Each has an owner and a record.
  • FDA · LFGB Food-contact developed Materials and coatings are selected against FDA 21 CFR and LFGB §30/§31 from the start, not screened afterwards. Test reports are issued per model and per destination market.

Certifications & Compliance

Standards We Hold

Named, not described. These are the approval families we hold and can send with a quotation — every one of them is issued against a specific product and destination market, so we confirm which apply to your configuration rather than claiming they all apply to everything we make.

FDA Food Contact

United States

Food-contact compliance for the materials that touch liquid. Test reports are issued against the actual product and model number, not a similar one.

LFGB

Germany · EU 1935/2004

The standard most European buyers quote, alongside EU framework regulation 1935/2004 for food-contact materials.

REACH / Prop 65

EU · California, US

REACH SVHC screening for the EU, and California Proposition 65 declarations covering lead, cadmium and other listed substances for the US market.

BSCI / SEDEX

Social compliance audit

Third-party social-compliance audit reports covering labour standards, working hours, wages and site safety for the production base.

ISO 9001

Quality management system

Certificate covering the quality management system under which orders are planned, produced and inspected.

Third-party testing

SGS · TÜV · Intertek

Where your market or your retailer requires a specific protocol, we commission the test against your product and send the report with the order documents.

Compliance documents are supplied per project. Tell us the product, the material and the market you are selling into and we will confirm exactly which reports and declarations apply, and issue them against your model number — not a generic one.

Scope

What Each Standard Covers, And How Far It Reaches

A certificate is either issued against an article or against the site, and the two are not interchangeable. This table states which each one is, because a report for one body is not evidence for another — and a supplier who implies otherwise should be asked again.
Standard, market, reach and what it actually covers
StandardMarketsReachWhat it covers
FDA food contactUnited StatesPer articleThe steel, lid, coating and silicone parts of a finished article, tested as sold.
LFGB · EU 1935/2004Germany · European UnionPer articleFood-contact compliance including migration testing, on the article and the materials it is made from.
REACH SVHC · California Prop 65European Union · California, USPer articleRestricted-substance screening covering the coatings and the materials actually used, not the material family in general.
ISO 9001InternationalSite-wideThe quality management system across incoming material, in-process gates and final inspection — one documented system, not one product.
BSCI · Sedex SMETAEuropean retail chainsSite-wideSocial-compliance audit of the organisation. The report belongs to the buyer who commissioned it, which is why the scheme and the scope are named here rather than a report number.
Third-party testingAnyPer article, on requestIndependent laboratory testing arranged when a buying process needs a laboratory that is not ours — SGS, TUV or Intertek, or the lab your compliance team nominates.

Reach is the column to read. A "per article" document applies to the item number and the market it was issued for; a "site-wide" document applies to everything the plant makes and says nothing about any single product. Neither of them is a claim that a current report exists for every item in the catalogue — tell us the item number and the destination and we will confirm which documents apply and how current they are.

Shipping Documents

The Export Paperwork That Accompanies An Order

Commercial documents rather than compliance evidence. Most of them are issued as a matter of course on an export order; the ones that are conditional say so, because a document a buyer has planned around and does not receive is worse than one they knew to ask for.
Export and compliance documents
DocumentWhen it is providedWhat it is for
Commercial invoiceStandardThe priced document that customs assesses duty on. It repeats the commercial terms on the order.
Packing listStandardCarton count, contents, dimensions and weights per carton. This is what the receiving warehouse works from.
Bill of ladingStandardThe carrier's document. Who takes delivery and who is notified are the two names on it.
Certificate of originOn requestConfirms where the goods were produced. Some destinations require it as a condition of entry or of a preferential rate.
Food-contact and material test reportsPer destination marketFDA food-contact and California Prop 65 for the United States; LFGB with EU 1935/2004 and REACH SVHC for the European Union; UK food-contact rules for the United Kingdom. Confirmed against the item number.
Inspection reportPer orderIssued before release where a pre-shipment inspection was part of the order, with photographs and the AQL plan it was judged against.
Insurance certificatePer shipping basisFollows the Incoterms on the order. On a CIF quotation the insurance is ours; on FOB it is normally yours.
Material declarationOn requestA statement from the manufacturer about the materials in the article, rather than a laboratory measurement of them. Both are useful; they are not the same evidence.

The compliance documents in the set follow the destination market and the article, so the applicable ones are named against your item number rather than sent as a generic pack. Documents are prepared with the order rather than after the vessel sails.

Response Times

How Fast We Answer, And What We Will Not Promise

These are acknowledgement times — what the factory controls. A resolution time depends on a laboratory, a carrier or a batch record, so it is stated against the specific case rather than published as a number that would not hold.
Ask a technical question
What you get back, and when
Your messageWhat you get backWhen
An enquiry or briefAn acknowledgement, plus any follow-up question needed to price it — never a brochure link in place of an answerWithin one business day
A technical or document requestAn acknowledgement and the document set for your item number and market, or a note on what would have to be commissionedWithin one business day to acknowledge
A quality claimAcknowledgement of receipt, then a written disposition once the inspection records for the order number have been reviewedWithin one business day to acknowledge
A sample requestThe physical sample, after the artwork and the specification are settled3–7 days from a settled brief
An order status questionA position against the order number, from the production record rather than from memorySame working day

A confirmed defect is answered with replacement, compensation or rework according to the agreed terms on the order. Requests that arrive overnight or over a Chinese public holiday are answered on the next working day — the one-business-day figure is a working day, not a calendar day.
