Container Loading And Cost Per Unit
The tedious half of a landed-cost sheet, done for you: cartons and units per container, gross weight, CBM utilisation, and a cost per unit derived only from the rates you type in. We publish no freight rate and no unit price.

Unit price is not calculated here. The line above spreads the costs you typed across the units; it is not a quotation and it does not include the goods. Indicative price bands per family are reserved for a later release rather than shown as a placeholder.

What The Calculator Does Not Know
- It loads by volume and by net weight, whichever binds first. It does not know your forwarder's stack height limit or whether the load is palletised.
- The weight line is the goods on their own. Master cartons, pallets, corner boards and dunnage all add to the gross weight your forwarder actually books, and a palletised load can give up a tenth of the volume.
- It uses a family carton. Your actual carton can be larger — a PDQ display or a gift tube changes the count materially.
- It assumes a full container of one SKU. A mixed container rarely reaches the same utilisation, because the cartons do not tessellate.
- It cannot see terminal handling, demurrage, insurance or the inland leg at either end.
- A container plan is confirmed against the final carton drawing before we book the truck. Treat the number above as a planning figure.
